So sorry that's it been a while since the last post...plenty has happened here in 29, I've just been a bit behind. We will rewind to Turkey Day 2008 which was a wonderfully warm day here in California! One I was privileged to spend with dear friends both for lunch and for dinner! I started that day in my kitchen making a double batch of Mac-n-Cheese, Broccoli Casserole & Mrs. Bass' Cran-Apple Bake...all while watching the Macy's Day parade! (A little shout out to my Alma Mater the Marching Royal Dukes who made an appearance in Harold Square)
(Below) Thanksgiving Lunch: Hosted by the Douvas Family. Highlights include, teary eyes as we shared how thankful we are for this great country & the men, we love, who serve! Trader Joe's Apple Cider & watching two toddlers chow down on my mac-n-cheese.
(Below) Thanksgiving Dinner: Hosted by the Schroder Family. Highlights include, Uncle Kevin's sense of humor, microwaved turkey, Andes mint pie, another meal mooched off the Schroders & a very tired chocolate lab!
