Many of you know, but for those of you who do not. Following Jon's graduation from IOC (infantry officers course) on December 20th 2007. We will be stationed in 29 Palms California, lovingly called 29 stumps! Jon will be a part of the 3rd Battalion 7th Marines, as a Marine we would say 3-7. His Battalion just returned from IRAQ yesterday and is scheduled to deploy again in September 2008 (give or take 2 months on either end) Jon seems very excited about joining 3-7, they are an extremely decorated battalion and after meeting some of his colleagues in California yesterday, He continues to be impressed with the caliber of these men. You can be praying for Jon's company, which has yet to be assigned. That the Lord might prepare Jon & the men he will lead for whatever the future holds.
