Happy One Year Anniversary to US!!! We celebrated 365 days of pure marital bliss on January 6th 2008. In fact Jon had the romantic idea that we should spend our special day driving from Albuquerque to Tuscon...of course I agreed that would be a splendid idea, and so we did!!! Once we reached California Seth & Laura helped us celebrate by eating year old frozen Krispy Kreame donuts (thanks for keeping those for us mama)
Although minty in flavor, since they were also frozen with Andes Mint...we enjoyed the age old tradition & it was fun to share it with friends, especially since Seth & Laura missed the donuts the first time around.
(Margot's choice for best Seth & Jon photo)Seth leaves for the Pacific on a MUE this coming Friday, we pray that his second deployment last only the scheduled 6 months and he is not extended; so that he'll be home with Laura in July. We're thankful we made it to San Diego in time to say good-bye. We look forward to his safe return to Camp Pendleton!!!
