Welcome Home 3/7 Advon!

When an Infantry Battalion returns; they send a small group of Marines home early to make preparations for the remainder of the Marines to come home! Our advanced party returned last week. We welcomed home our dear friend & Jon's right hand man through this deployment, SSgt. Bennett! It was a cold & sand-storming night in 29 but after 2 hours on Victory Field they finally arrived! I have grown close to the Bennett Family in SSgt. Bennett & Lt. Bass' absence...we were all glad to have him home! (Sekye & Miss Margot)Amanda was amazing throughout this whole deployment, filling her role as single mom just beautifully. She gave birth to a healthy baby girl all by herself. I sometimes wonder who's job is harder... it's difficult to compare.SSgt. Bennett's biggest fan...Sekye was so excited to have his daddy home!
SSgt. Bennett meets his daughter, Sabriya, at 5 weeks old!
