Part of the deployment process is the the sign...the design, the execution & then the joyous day when you finally hang it up! That day came for me last Sunday; one of the windiest & sand stormy days we've seen in a long time - Go Figure!
My faithful friends Stephanie & Lindsey braved the elements on Adobe Road (the entrance to the USMC Base here in 29 Palms) The wind was blowing so hard it plastered the sign to the fence, we had to just zip-tie it right where it was b/c there was no way we could move it anywhere else!
Giving my life size Marine a Kiss just 24-hours before his return...when you hang-up the sign it means it's really happening. The BIG day is almost here!
Let's now just pray that as the bus drives by at midnight...he'll actually get a chance to see it!
